Newburyport MA
Newburyport is one of those towns that completely embodies the coastal New England feel. With plenty of ocean views, great restaurants, and lots of shopping, it is the perfect place to live or visit on the Northshore.
Though the area was settled in 1635, Newburyport became its own town separate from Newbury in 1764 and was primarily funded by shipbuilding, fishing, and overseas shipping. For a time, it was the smallest town in Massachusetts! Newburyport is less than an hour’s drive from Boston and accessible via the Newburyport/Rockport Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail.
This gorgeous coastal community is full of hometown spirit, maritime history, independent shops, and beautiful views for everyone to enjoy.
