Lynn MA
Seated along the Atlantic Ocean right below Swampscott, and only 3.7 miles north of the Boston city line, Lynn is the largest city in Essex County! Placed along the commuter rail and the MBTA Blue line “T” stop in the nearby City of Revere, Lynn is an easy-to-reach destination a quick commute to Boston.
Settled by Europeans in 1629, Lynn is the 5th oldest colonial settlement in the Commonwealth. What started as a small fishing town has grown into a fully populated manufacturing and commercial hub! The city is even home to the first U.S.-made Jet Airplane Engine built at Lynn’s General Electric plant in 1942. Today, however, the city is known for its public art, diverse population, historic architecture, downtown cultural district, job opportunities, and lush public parks and open spaces!
